I don’t usually enter popularity contests, but this contest is worth a whole lot to me.

This contest provides an opportunity to be featured in a 2 pages spread for a magazine. So, what does this experience mean to me?

• Winning means a sense of accomplishment – being acknowledge for being Fabulous over the age of 40. Come on ladies – can’t we all agree that we don’t need to be in our younger years to be fabulous?
• Being pampered & making fun memories on the day of the photo shoot. Who doesn’t like being dolled up and fussed over?
• Fostering new connections with the people that I meet throughout this challenge. I love meeting new people.
• Self-growth – it’s a way to take a step back and breath who I am today, right now – and then discover who I want to become as an adult (dare I say) “middle” aged woman?
